Penne with Shrimp and Parmesan

1 pound shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1/4 cup Butter
salt and pepper to taste
1 medium sized onion, diced
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon fresh basil chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
1 pound package penne
1 cup soave wine

1. Put on 4-5 quarts of water to boil.

2. In a large frying pan on medium heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add the onions and saute until transparent. Add the shrimp and cook until pink.

3. Add the Soave and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

4. Add basil, salt, and pepper to taste.

5. Place pasta into rapidly boiling water, stir once or twice and cook to directions on package.

6. Drain pasta and incorporate with the sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
